Solar lanterns for 50 homes in Rulindo

Funds go to: Kigombe sector households (via ARED Rwanda)

The story

Fifty households in Kigombe sector, Rulindo, are still off-grid — kids do homework by kerosene or by the glow of mobile phones. We're distributing 50 M-KOPA solar lanterns with a 2-year warranty, one per household.

Each lantern costs RWF 18,000 delivered. We have a local distribution partner (ARED Rwanda) who will handle installation and training. Target: RWF 900,000 total.
