Butaro Paediatric Oncology — scanner fund

Butaro Cancer Centre of Excellence treats over 400 children a year from across Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern DRC. The current ultrasound unit in the paediatric wing is nine years old. A replacement unit (GE Logiq Fortis) is USD 42,000 landed.

Partners In Health and the Ministry of Health have committed USD 28,000. We are raising the last USD 14,000 (~RWF 19.6 million).

This equipment will serve every child who walks into Butaro's paediatric oncology for the next decade.
