Baby Umutoni — urgent heart surgery at King Faisal

Our daughter Umutoni is 14 months old. At her six-month check-up the pediatrician at Kibagabaga heard a murmur. An echo at King Faisal confirmed a ventricular septal defect. Dr. Mutabazi has scheduled surgery for the 18th of next month.

The hospital has quoted RWF 8.4 million for the operation, recovery, and follow-up. RSSB covers 60%. We are raising the remaining RWF 3.36 million.
